Kish winter with touch of spring: Photos

Iran’s Kish Island is one of the perfect destinations to visit in winter to enjoy its mild weather, and to smell the flowers that grow on the sides of its roads, drawing picturesque landscapes.

Each year in autumn, more than five million seedlings of seasonal flowers that suit the weather of Kish Island are planted on the islands’ boulevards and in its squares and parks in autumn, including marigold, common zinnia, and sulfur cosmos.

In winter, the flowers blossom, creating spectacular scenes.

The migration of birds such as great egret, grey heron and gulls to the island in winter also adds to its beauty.

Iran’s Kish is one of the islands in the Persian Gulf. It lies in the southern province of Hormozgan.
